These terms govern your use of Task Desk (“the app”), an offline productivity app developed by LiveApp.Run. By installing or using the app, you agree to these terms. If you do not agree, please do not use the app.
Reminders and alarms are not guaranteed
Please read this carefully. Task Desk’s reminders and alarms depend on your device’s operating system, notification settings, and power-management behavior. Manufacturer battery optimizations, “deep sleep” or app-standby features, Do Not Disturb modes, force-stopping the app, denied permissions, low storage, or the device being off can delay or prevent a reminder or alarm from being delivered.
Do not rely on Task Desk for time-critical or safety-critical reminders — including medication, medical, financial, legal, or emergency reminders. Always use a dedicated, verified system for anything where a missed reminder could cause harm or loss.
Provided “as is”
The app is provided “as is” and “as available,” without warranties of any kind, whether express or implied, including but not limited to fitness for a particular purpose, reliability, availability, or that the app will be error-free or uninterrupted. You use the app at your own risk.
Limitation of liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, LiveApp.Run shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages, or for any loss of data, missed reminders, missed events, or other losses arising from your use of or inability to use the app, even if advised of the possibility of such damages.
Your data and backups
Your content is stored on your device. You are responsible for maintaining your own backups. The optional Google Drive backup is provided as a convenience and is not guaranteed to be complete or recoverable in every circumstance. How your information is handled is described in our Privacy Policy.
Purchases
Premium features are offered as an optional one-time purchase through Google Play Billing. All payments, taxes, and refunds are handled by Google Play under Google’s terms; please direct any billing or refund requests to Google Play. Premium entitlement is verified through Google Play and may be unavailable if Google Play services are unavailable on your device.
Acceptable use
You agree not to misuse the app, including attempting to reverse-engineer, decompile, tamper with, or circumvent any licensing or security mechanisms, except to the extent such restriction is prohibited by law.
Intellectual property
The app, its design, and its content (excluding the data you create) are owned by LiveApp.Run and are protected by applicable laws. These terms do not grant you any rights to our trademarks or branding.
Changes to these terms
We may update these terms from time to time. Continued use of the app after an update constitutes acceptance of the revised terms. The “last updated” date above reflects the current version.
Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of Canada, without regard to its conflict-of-law provisions, except where local consumer protection law requires otherwise.
