Task Desk (“the app”) is an offline productivity app developed by LiveApp.Run. This policy explains how your information is handled.
Task Desk does not collect, transmit, or share any personal data. The app has no ads, no analytics, no tracking, and no user accounts. All your content — to-dos, reminders, notes, and habits — is stored only in the app’s private storage on your device.
If you choose to enable backup, the app uses Google Sign-In and the Google Drive API to store a single backup file in your own Google Drive’s hidden app-data folder. This data goes only to your personal Google account; it is never sent to the developer or any third party, and we cannot access it. The Google account is used solely to perform this backup and restore at your request. You can disable backup or delete the backup file at any time. Google’s handling of your Drive data is governed by Google’s Privacy Policy.
Premium is offered as an optional one-time purchase via Google Play Billing. Google Play handles the entire transaction; the app receives only a yes/no signal indicating whether you own Premium. Payment details and your Google account identity are never visible to the developer. Google’s handling of purchase data is governed by Google’s Privacy Policy.
The About page (opened from the navigation drawer) includes a “Share debug logs” option. When you tap it, the app collects the recent on-device diagnostic log for Task Desk only (about 500 lines, plus your app version, Android version, and device model) and opens the standard share sheet so you can send it to us by email if you’re reporting an issue. The app does not log your task content, account identity, or personal data. Nothing is sent automatically; this feature only does anything when you explicitly tap the button and choose where to send the file.
An optional app lock (PIN or biometric) is stored only on your device and is never transmitted.
Notifications and alarms are used to deliver your reminders. Network access is used only for the optional Google Drive backup feature.
Uninstalling the app removes all on-device data. Any Google Drive backup remains in your own Drive and can be deleted by you.
Task Desk is not directed at children and collects no data from anyone.
